Wedding Dress Deposit Insurance

With the recession biting and more bridal shops closing it's reassuring to know, that as a long standing member of the RBA (our bridal association), we can offer you free insurance on your wedding dress deposit (not that after 30 years in business we're planning on going anywhere!).

This covers you for the deposit you pay on your wedding dress free of charge and it is fantastic that the RBA have been able to arrange this for their members and gives extra peace of mind for the bride when she's making such an important purchase and paying a deposit often far in advance of her wedding date.

The Retail Bridalwear Association launched what they call the 'Money-Back Brides Protection Scheme' that guarantees the return of money paid out on their wedding dress should a member retailer go out of business involuntarily. The Scheme is to be rolled out across all of the RBA's 120 shops in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, creating a world first for the wedding dress industry.

RBA Chairman Alan Sanders said: "This is the fulfilment of a long held dream for the Association. As the nation enters one of its toughest times ever financially, the Brides' Protection Scheme gives peace of mind to any of our brides who maybe anxious about losing money committed to their wedding dress.
