8 Hour Road Trip
Last week I had an email from a bride in Bristol saying that she had been let down by a local bridal shop and having ordered a dress over 6 months ago, there was no sign of it arriving. Promised delivery dates came and went for the wedding dress and bridesmaid and with the wedding date approaching fast, she had no alternative but to start looking somewhere else where she could order the same dress.
After several emails pinging back and forth, it was arranged for her to come in on Monday, we were really looking forward to meeting each other!
After a three and a half hour journey the lovely Becky and her mum arrived in Colchester. She was stunning, just like Cameron Diaz (I hope you don't mind me saying that Becky!). She tried the dress on that she had originally ordered but she wasn't 100% happy with it and I think all the problems she had with the shop had almost tainted the dress for her.
I suggested a very simple Suzanne Neville dress and when she put it on, wow! She looked amazing, after that nothing compared and it was lovely to see her so happy with the beautiful veil and tiara, the look was completed with an amazing pearl and diamante bracelet.
Then it was in to Jitters for mum. She looked fantastic in all the Linea Raffaelli outfits but in the end it came down to two. She opted for a stunning 3-piece as she felt more comfortable in it and it had the real wow factor.
It was an absolute pleasure to help Becky and her mum and to know they were going back to Bristol two happy bunnies!
